Keith Prowse was centre stage at BAFTA on Wednesday (12th September), having won two major industry awards. The Sports & Leisure Catering Awards were given for the organisation’s progressive stance on hospitality and for creating accessible price points.
Keith Prowse scooped Best Corporate Hospitality Experience for its work at the Fever-Tree Championships 2018 at The Queen’s Club. Additionally, the UK’s leading hospitality provider was named as the ultimate winner across all categories at the awards ceremony.
The winning entry showcased Keith Prowse’s understanding of market dynamics and the changing face and demographics of hospitality guests. The award citation highlighted Keith Prowse’s ability to deliver world leading hospitality concepts, tennis inspired design and seamless service during the week-long tournament. Recognising the two-storey Hospitality Village for setting the standard in tiered hospitality offerings and price points, the win also underlined Keith Prowse’s commitment to innovation and development of the guest experience, under the newly branded Fever-Tree Championships.
The 9,000m² structure at The Queen’s Club takes year-round planning and six weeks to build and serves over 8,000 hospitality guests. Accommodating the Love Fifteen, Roof Garden and Club Lounge facilities, each bespoke hospitality concept is developed for their respective audience, with uncompromising attention to detail given to the design, service and food offering.
Sam Coates, Head of Marketing at Keith Prowse commented: “The hospitality product at The Fever-Tree Championships is a year-round process that takes on-going planning and concept development to ensure the finest customer experiences are available. As an organiser we are seeing a shift in who, how and why guests are attending sporting events. Hence we have flexed our products to ensure that multi-tiered packages attract both new and existing customers to the championships. We were delighted at one award and two is the icing on the cake for us and our client the Lawn Tennis Association.”
Stephen Farrow, Tournament Director of the Fever-Tree Championships, continued: “We are delighted that the Fever-Tree Championship and our hospitality partners Keith Prowse have been recognised in this way in a year when we welcomed Fever-Tree, the premium drinks mixer, as our title sponsor. We take great pride in generating the highest quality hospitality experience for our guests, and in Keith Prowse we are working with the best in the business. We recently extended our partnership with Keith Prowse until 2023 and look forward to continuing to deliver an experience in keeping with our reputation as a prestigious international sporting event.”
Sports & Leisure Catering magazine editor Joe Bill added: “Using technology to show guests what they will experience before they commit to a visit, while also providing multiple, affordable options has meant that their offer is open to more people.
“The creation of the customer satisfaction programme to help them stay on-trend and give the customer exactly what they want was exceptional. Well done.
