Within the Grounds, Chef Dan Perea will bring a modern, British approach to the menu in the Rosewater Pavilion for the first ten days. Serving up growth; Tennis x hospitality
Across the world, popularity in tennis is on the rise from both a participation and viewership perspective. This is exemplified by the recent global release and success of Netflix’s fly-on-the-wall series, ‘Break Point’; and also comes off the back of a pandemic-fuelled appetite for in-person corporate and personal entertainment experiences - premiumisation - almost at the expense of material goods.
The wider, global hospitality industry is predicted to grow by more than 142% over the next five years, to $9,950 billion in 2028. Macro-economically speaking, the population in general is on the rise – including both the number of HNWI’s (High Net Worth individuals) and UHNWI’s (Ultra High Net Worth individuals). This is coupled by the fact that UK tourism continues to grow in popularity, driven by globally viewed events such the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
Andy Vinsen, Managing Director, Keith Prowse commented:
“This is a very proud moment for all at Keith Prowse, and a true testament to the strength of our ongoing partnership with The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC). Our strategy is to continually improve and innovate, and, following some extensive research which highlighted the need to accommodate a younger demographic, we successfully launched an informal premium experience called the Treehouse which was new last year and will continue in 2023. Sales across the range of tiered experiences on offer, which commenced with a pre-sale exclusively for American Express© Cardmembers the day after Wimbledon concluded, were strong and ahead of our traditional sales pace from day one. We cannot wait for The Championships this summer and are already getting the ball rolling for 2024 and beyond.”
