MON 20 JUNE 2022. 15:00 BST. Keith Prowse today announces the appointment of Mick Desmond as Non-Executive Chairman. His appointment will take effect from Monday, 20 June 2022.
Mick’s career has spanned the world of sport and media during which he has held a number of high-profile positions, leading major change programmes and strong income growth strategies. His last executive role was as Commercial and Media Director of AELTC, responsible for delivering all commercial and media activities for The Wimbledon Championships. As a senior member of the executive team, Mick was responsible for global media rights, host broadcasting, commercial partnerships, digital strategy, brand management, hospitality, ticketing and retail. Previously Mick spent 25 years at several regional ITV companies and became CEO of the ITV Network. Having left ITV, he co-founded and managed a successful media and content business in China (IPCN).
